Coming from a fashion landscape known for its minimalist designs, Fam Irvoll stands out for her fun, bold and vibrant style. As we are often bombarded with the rhetoric of being serious and grown-up, Irvoll reminds us to embrace our inner child and whimsy. For this fashion season, Irvoll brought to the runway a playful collection that rejuvenated the audience that was present.

On a Sunday evening in Knightsbridge there was a hum of excitement and anticipation from everyone surrounding the entrance. It was only natural, given that this was Genaro Rivas’ sixth consecutive fashion week. Rivas has always presented collections that were fresh and innovative and his recent collection ‘A Glass to Break’ was no exception.

Each collection was full of soul, passion and artistry, but a collection that caught my eye in particular was Nathan Slate's ‘Mourning’. It was a collection that reexamined the concept of sustainability, leaving the audience with something to reconsider. Needless to say, Slate debuted in London Fashion Week with a statement by bringing a different perspective to the conversation.
